Job summary

Weave Bio is seeking an Account Executive, Mid-Market to join our commercial team. You will generate new business with pharmaceutical companies, biotechs and CROs, promoting our AI-powered platform for regulatory content generation and workflow management.

You will own lead generation, outbound outreach, qualification, pipeline management and closing high-value partnerships. This role supports our mission to accelerate drug development through safe, compliant AI solutions, with up to 50% travel

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BD or software sales in life sciences.
• Experience selling to startups/biotechs in drug development.
• Familiar with regulatory landscape and SaaS adoption in life sciences.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to influence senior decision-makers.
• Experience with SaaS or document management solutions.
• Documented contract sales experience.
• Knowledge of FDA/EMA/ICH guidelines is a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation & prospecting targeting executives and regulatory leaders.
• Outbound outreach with marketing to engage prospects and drive demand.
• Sales qualification to map stakeholders and budgeting processes.
• Pipeline management from engagement to close; draft and present contracts.
• Maintain deep product knowledge; collaborate on onboarding and implementation.
• CRM utilization to track leads and pipeline; accurate reporting.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
• Stay current with regulatory trends and competitive landscape.
• Meet monthly/quarterly bookings and engagement targets.
