Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to support government-facing applications with a focus on secure, scalable UI solutions. The role emphasizes modern front-end tech, TypeScript in Angular or React, and DevSecOps practices in a remote environment.

You will collaborate with PMO and stake holders to refine requirements, build wireframes, and deliver user-friendly interfaces while adhering to DoD DevSecOps standards and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or higher required.
• A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years' experience utilizing typescripts in angular or react.
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Practical experience developing in containerized environments like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven EXP, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent and relevant experience performing front-end web design and development.
• Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.
• Demonstrated experience in generating system wireframes, mockups, etc. considering multiple user personas.
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end features with modern UI frameworks.
• Create technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes for reviews.
• Plan and implement UI modifications to improve navigation and user experience.
• Collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to refine requirements and documentation.
