Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to support front-end design, development, and optimization for DoD-linked projects. The role emphasizes creating design drawings, mockups, and UI elements to improve user experience while ensuring security compliance.

The position requires a Secret clearance, a related bachelor’s degree, and 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting languages. Remote work is supported with Klarity in DoD DevSecOps environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; a master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps/tooling.
• 3 years with Jira and testing web-based applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years’ experience with TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Experience in cloud environments and containerized deployments (Kubernetes/Docker).
• 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Knowledge of DoD DevSecOps environments and agile, user-centric design.
• Strong UI/UX and wireframe/mockup experience.

Responsibilities

• Create technical designs, mockups, and wireframes for PMO and stakeholders.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain front-end UI components and navigation.
• Support deployment in cloud and containerized environments.
• Engage in agile, user-centric design and produce system wireframes for multiple personas.
