Job summary

Quotient (A VTG Company) is seeking a mid-level Backend Developer to join our fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and deliver secure backend services using Java, Python, and at least one frontend language, collaborating across remote teams and EST hours.

You should have 3–5 years of experience, strong API design, and problem-solving skills. This role offers a competitive compensation range of $115k–$125k and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in at least three core technologies from the stack.
• Excellent communication for a fully remote distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain backend code using Java, Python, JavaScript/Vue.js/React, PHP, or C#.
• Develop, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and services.
• Participate in the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in existing systems.
