Quotient (A VTG Company) seeks a mid-level Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable software on a fully remote team. You will work across the stack with Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or C#, delivering RESTful services and APIs while adhering to EST business hours.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, strong problem-solving, and collaboration in a distributed, remote environment. Remote candidates must align with East Coast time, and the team operates within a modern SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least three technologies from Java, Python, JavaScript (Vue.js/React), PHP, or C#.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Strong communication in a fully remote, distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable backend code.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Develop, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve performance and reliability.
