Job summary

Quotient (A VTG Company) is seeking a mid-level Developer for backend and delivery responsibilities. The role supports a fully remote engineering team, with strict adherence to East Coast (EST) working hours.

Expect to design, develop, and maintain multiple software projects using Java, Python, and JavaScript among other technologies. You will participate in all SDLC phases, build RESTful APIs, and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure scalable, reliable systems for clients across industries.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in at least three of the listed technologies (Java, Python, JavaScript Vue/React, PHP, C#).
• Must be able to work East Coast business hours (EST).
• Experience in writing clean, scalable, maintainable code.
• Strong communication for a fully remote distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications across the backend stack.
• Build, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Debug, diagnose, and resolve performance and reliability issues.
