Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago is seeking a Microsoft 365 Solution Architect for a fully remote position. You will design, implement, and support M365 solutions aligned with business needs, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, and Azure, to streamline workflows and improve operations.

Reporting to the Executive Director IT Service Delivery and Academic Technology, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, maintain design documentation, and guide others in best practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Five years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in higher education or large institutions preferred.
• Proficient in writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven expertise designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OIT teams to maximize Microsoft 365 functionality and tailor solutions to business processes.
• Document system designs, code modifications, technical specifications, test plans, and test results.
• Adhere to Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and change control procedures.
• Develop, implement, and support external access to and transactions with other systems using APIs and Power Automate.
• Perform and support M365 administrative tasks and assist with dashboards and reports.
