Job summary

Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking a MHCP Change Coordinator and Educator in Saint Paul to monitor MHCP policies and educate providers, staff, and stakeholders about coverage, billing, and system changes.

You will deliver workshops, maintain provider resources, and collaborate with DHS divisions to keep MHCP knowledge current and actionable for the provider community, ensuring DHS program integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience with health care program policy and claims billing systems procedures.
• Knowledge of health care provider information needs and business practices.
• Experience providing training, facilitating group presentations or similar audience-based demonstrations.
• Technical aptitude using video conferencing tools such as Webex, MS Teams or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise of assigned provider types and build an internal DHS network of subject matter experts.
• Coordinate and document MHCP information for DHS provider resources.
• Plan, develop and conduct workshops/seminars for MHCP enrolled provider organizations and related entities.
• Assist in business analysis to ensure provider intake/delivery systems are designed and tested for user acceptance.
• Represent DHS/MHCP on local industry initiatives to align public program perspectives with provider needs.
