Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks an experienced MEP Coordination Program Manager to support new construction and special programs across North America. This remote role collaborates with Design & Construction, General Contractors, OEMs, and site teams to ensure seamless EBMS integration of MEP, BMS and Fire systems.

You will coordinate ITPs, manage MEP workstreams, track progress across projects, and resolve RFIs and delays. Travel up to 25% in the U.S. and Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years as an MEP Coordinator, MEP Superintendent or Mechanical Engineering expert.
• Experience with project management and AI tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Quicksuite, Power BI, MS Project, AI and Machine Learning, Claude).
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of construction specs (Div 00, 21, 23, 25, 26).
• 7+ years MEP coordination experience.
• 5+ years with BMS or PLC systems.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience managing projects across multiple time zones.
• Remote team coordination experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% in the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site-level tracking across portfolio of concurrent projects at various construction phases.
• Manage MEP workstreams from due diligence through deployment.
• Collaborate with D&C Pre-Construction and Construction Managers.
• Resolve MEP-related delays, escalations, and RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DCIs and quality standards including Commissioning.
• Verify ECM sequences are setup for new launches.
• Deliver MEP systems on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with subcontracts, GCs, CMs and other key stakeholders to align BMS scope with design intent.
• Serve as primary point of contact for EBMS integration stakeholders and vendors.
• Create and update the EBMS POR.
• Coordinate BMS network and site connectivity readiness with IT, GC, LVCs and others ahead of system start up.
