Job summary

CGP Data Center and Cloud Solutions seeks an experienced MEP Manager, Cx to lead the commissioning of data center mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems remotely across client sites. You will review client design packages, monitor FAT and First of Kind tests, and develop O&M documentation as a reference for data center equipment.

This senior role requires extensive experience in data center commissioning, strong QA/QC discipline, and the ability to travel up to 70% to job locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience in construction, commissioning, or mission-critical environments.
• 10 years’ experience in the Engineering Field.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical or large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Experience with IEEE/ASHRAE procedures is a plus.
• Electrical equipment testing in a Critical Facilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, plans, specifications, and assignments in a multidisciplinary commissioning role.
• Adhere to QA/QC processes throughout commissioning activities.
• Lead commissioning meetings and develop SOPs and MOPs.
• Prepare test procedures and commissioning reports; maintain logs and checklists.
• Write reports with recommendations for optimizing building operations.
• Review design criteria and equipment submittals for commissioning.
• Perform system testing, load bank testing, and document results.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors and owners’ agents.
