Job summary

Vita Health Group is seeking a Regional Clinical Risk & Safeguarding Advisor to support Talking Therapies services. You will provide expert risk and safeguarding guidance to practitioners, liaise with clients and external partners, and help ensure safe, high-quality mental health care across services.

Based remotely, you will work within a regional duty team, handling distressed client contacts, screening referrals, and enabling timely access to appropriate care, while collaborating with GPs and

Qualifications

Hold current registration with a recognised professional healthcare regulatory body.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk management and safeguarding processes.
Maintain ongoing professional development and training.
Experience working within mental health services and safeguarding protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical risk and safeguarding guidance to practitioners.
Screen referrals and assess service suitability for timely care.
Handle significant client contact via telephone, including distressed callers.
Support interface discussions between Talking Therapies and Secondary Care services.
Liaise with GPs and external agencies to coordinate care.
