Job summary

GPDQ is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to assess and manage patients with minor illnesses remotely in the UK. The role supports a wide age range with emphasis on high-quality clinical care and autonomous decision-making.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, using SystmOne to record findings and tailor management plans. Requirements include registration (NMC/HPC/GMC), prescribing rights, and at least 1 year in primary care.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse, paramedic or pharmacist with current registration.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Minimum 1 year experience within primary care.
• Prescribing rights are essential.
• Must be IT literate.
• Experience assessing and treating patients across all age groups.
• Must commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Experience in digital or tele health is desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in using SystmOne.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with minor illnesses and acute conditions.
• Provide high-quality clinical care, ideally to patients across all age groups.
• Review, interpret and act on blood test results (FBC, U&Es, CRP, LFTs, lipid profiles, HbA1c).
• Develop and implement clinical management plans based on assessment findings.
• Initiate or adjust treatment within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne.
