Job summary

Talkspace seeks an experienced Clinical Risk Specialist to join our Clinical Quality, Risk Management team. This remote role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating clinical risk in a for-purpose space providing mental healthcare.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a related field, active licensure, and 3+ years as a clinician with 2+ years in telehealth. Strong risk management, data analysis, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Current independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent).
• 3+ years of post-licensure experience as a mental health clinician.
• 2+ years of direct clinical experience delivering care as a telehealth practitioner.
• Experience in clinical risk management and crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with clinical quality expectations and ethical practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Technologically proficient; Familiar with Google Workspace and able to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Risk monitoring and response; review and document adverse incidents.
• Provide guidance to providers after risk-related incidents.
• Facilitate debriefing and Psychological First Aid after sentinel events.
• Escalate high-risk or complex concerns for leadership review.
• Offer consultation to providers on risk management topics (documentation, safety planning, etc.).
• Participate in provider onboarding and risk-focused learning communities.
• Assist in developing clinical risk education materials.
• Connect providers to support teams and resources when needed.
• Partner with Quality Management to investigate complaints and evaluate clinical quality.
• Conduct audits and quality reviews.
