Lifeline Therapy Clinic in Buffalo, New York is hiring a full-time Licensed Therapist. This remote position emphasizes culturally responsive care for diverse clients, including LMFTs, LMHCs, and LCSWs. The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy while maintaining compliant documentation and upholding ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current valid license as LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in New York.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies to address diverse client backgrounds.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals for holistic care.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Educate clients and families on mental health and community resources.
• Maintain confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing cultural competency training.
• Stay current with research and best practices in culturally competent therapy.
