Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Membership Specialist II to join as a telecommuter. This role performs complex reconciliation and audit activities for accounts receivable, resolves enrollment and billing issues, and coaches internal and external customers on contractual guidelines.

Eligible candidates will have accounting/finance experience and familiarity with Excel/Access. The position supports Pacific/Mountain/Central time zones with a 7am–5pm PT window.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of accounting/finance experience or an Associate’s degree.
• One year of membership analysis or reconciliation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliation analysis and audit activities for accounts receivable.
• Resolve enrollment, reconciliation and billing issues with minimal supervision.
• Use Excel and Access to update eligibility, enrollment and reconciliation data.
• Educate members, brokers, or groups on membership and billing processes.
• Respond to member/broker inquiries and ensure compliance with regulations.
