Job summary

Connexus Credit Union is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Member Services Representative to serve members across channels from our remote-first environment. You will help members with deposits, loans, and inquiries, while promoting Connexus products and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

Qualifications include cash handling, 2+ years in sales or customer service, and excellent communication. The role supports branch teams and may require travel within the area as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cash handling ability required.
• 2+ years in sales, retail, or customer service with goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal communication and outgoing personality.
• Ability to travel to other branches within the area.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains professional relationships with members and colleagues to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Provide best in class service as the first point of contact for members across channels.
• Assist members with financial transactions at counter, drive-up, phone or mail while maintaining confidentiality.
• Educate members about Connexus products and opportunities to improve their financial landscape.
• Open deposit accounts and loans, upsell where appropriate to build relationships.
• Research and resolve complex member inquiries about services and accounts.
• Support compliance duties and mentor new staff.
• Complete member transactions accurately and balance cash drawer daily.
• Monitor chat queues to ensure seamless member experience across channels.
• Mitigate risk and protect assets from fraud.
