Qualifications

• Cash handling and math skills to count and balance cash accurately.
• 2+ years in sales, retail, or customer service with success in meeting goals.
• Prior credit union or bank experience is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and an outgoing, energetic attitude.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and protect confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel to other branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains professional relationships with members and colleagues to achieve mutual outcomes.
• As the first point of contact, provide best-in-class service and make informed recommendations for financial goals.
• Assist members with transactions at counter, drive‑up, phone, or mail while maintaining confidentiality.
• Educate members about opportunities to improve their financial landscape and promote Connexus products.
• Develop knowledge of deposit and loan products, open accounts and loans, and upsell where appropriate.
• Research and resolve member inquiries about credit union services and accounts.
• Support compliance duties, such as vault and TCR audits, with Branch Manager and Supervisor.
• Mentor and train new Member Services Representatives.
• Complete transactions accurately and adhere to guidelines and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer daily with minimal errors.
• Manage chat queues to provide seamless experiences across channels.
• Protect assets through risk mitigation and fraud prevention.
• Help achieve branch goals and personal performance targets.
• Identify and prevent fraudulent or suspicious activity.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
