Job summary

S3 Shared Services, a Credit Union Service Organization, is hiring for a remote Member Service Representative to handle inquiries about membership, banking products, services, and rates. The role emphasizes delivering world-class service in a collaborative team environment with a focus on member satisfaction.

Location: Remote. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, 401(k) match, referral programs, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives. FLSA: Nonexempt.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in customer service preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
• Ability to navigate multiple platforms/computer software simultaneously.
• Remote work environment experience with dual monitors is a plus.
• Structured and procedure-driven position.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls and utilizes knowledge of credit union products and data systems to provide information and assist with requests for both member and non-member callers.
• Completes member verification, reviews accounts, relays company policies, and communicates with management to remedy service issues in a remote environment.
• Specializes in digital, cards, or loans queues and processes related transactions.
• Corresponds with other departments and management via email for additional requests.
• Assists with additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.
