Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Care Specialist to join the Member & Provider Escalations team. You will be a subject matter expert for Member and Provider Services and act as a liaison between production and optimization/strategy teams.

This remote role requires residing in AZ, FL, GA, or TX, and involves solving complex issues for providers and members. You will report into the Member Escalations Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer support, healthcare, tech and/or related field.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 6+ months of member and customer service experience.
• 1+ year of escalations experience in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls, secure messages, and emails with members or providers.
• Manage queue work and caseload through dashboard management.
• Identify, investigate and resolve issues within SLAs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify trends and roadblocks.
• Use internal tools and resources effectively to support members and providers.
• Communicate findings and resolutions to providers and internal teams.
• Assist with training support for Member and Provider Services.
