Job summary

Medica is seeking an Engagement Coordinator II for a fully remote role, coordinating with members to access care coordination programs and health resources. You will perform high-volume outbound calls, assess non-clinical needs, and connect members with appropriate services, while documenting interactions accurately and maintaining strong customer service.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and at least 2 years in related roles, with excellent communication and multitasking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 2 years in telephonic member engagement, customer service, call center operations, healthcare support, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound telephonic outreach to engage members with care coordination and health management services.
• Manage a member caseload of approximately 500-600 members.
• Complete a minimum of 20 outbound calls per day, with volume often exceeding this threshold.
• Educate members on available care coordination services, healthcare resources, and covered benefits.
• Assess member needs using established protocols and connect to appropriate programs and services.
• Encourage participation in health assessments and care coordination programs.
• Assist members in accessing healthcare services, community resources, and support programs.
• Document interactions and coordinate with care team; escalate complex concerns as needed.
