Job summary

LivWell Infusions is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to manage patient appointments, coordinate clinician schedules, and support smooth daily operations. The role requires excellent communication, accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a healthcare setting.

You will handle high call volumes, maintain EMR records, and collaborate with clinicians to resolve scheduling conflicts. Occasional front office support at infusion centers in Northern California may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a healthcare setting, preferably in a scheduling role.
• Proficiency in medical scheduling software and EMR systems.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, considering factors such as urgency, clinician availability, and patient preferences
• Handle high volumes of phone calls and emails, responding to patient inquiries and addressing scheduling concerns
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and information in our EMR system
• Collaborate with healthcare clinicians and administrative staff to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize resource utilization
• Process appointment changes, cancellations, and reschedules promptly
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality regulations and facility policies
• Assisting at the infusion centers in Northern California as the front office admin as needed
