Job summary

Rezolut is seeking a full-time remote Medical Records Processor to join our team. The role handles requests for medical and billing records while protecting PHI, with a 40-hour work week and pay between $20.46 and $24.65 per hour.

The position requires handling paper and electronic records, coordinating with facilities, patients, attorneys, and other entities, and maintaining confidentiality. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of PHI confidentiality and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret and process medical and billing records.
• Experience handling high-volume record requests with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and process paper and electronic medical and billing record requests from facilities, patients, attorneys, and others.
• Perform clerical duties including scanning, copying, printing and mail handling.
• Investigate and respond timely to inquiries received by email, phone, or Teams.
• Document and action accounts accurately and maintain organized records.
• Draft communications to patients, patient representatives, payors, and outside entities as needed.
• Report on status of patient concerns and missing information to management.
