Eleos Law LLP is seeking a Medical Records Retrieval Specialist to manage a queue of record requests, guiding clients through authorizations and coordinating with providers and HIM departments.

You’ll be on calls and screen-share with clients, track progress meticulously, and escalate stalled requests. No prior legal experience required; we’ll teach you the rest while you grow in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in records, medical/healthcare office, or detail-oriented, customer-facing role.
• Comfort making outbound calls and guiding people through multi-step processes.
• Ability to learn new software and online portals quickly.
• Strong organization and attention to detail across many concurrent tasks.

Responsibilities

• Call clients and walk them—by phone and screen-share—through completing records authorizations.
• Navigate provider, patient, and records-retrieval portals and troubleshoot access issues.
• Submit, track, and follow up on records requests with providers, HIM departments, and vendors.
• Review incoming records for completeness and accuracy before filing.
• Keep clear, current status notes on every request so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Flag stalled or denied requests early with context for the manager.
• Handle protected health information carefully per firm procedures.
• Be a calm, professional contact for clients throughout the process.
