Job summary

Rezolut is seeking a full-time remote Medical Records Processor to join our team. The role involves retrieving and processing requests for medical and billing records from facilities, physicians, patients, attorneys, or other entities while ensuring PHI confidentiality.

Key duties include handling clerical tasks, responding to inquiries via email, phone, or Teams, and documenting actions on accounts. The position offers a remote work setup with a 40-hour week and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS/Diploma GED equivalent.
• A background in handling medical records or PHI is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and process both paper and electronic medical and billing record requests from facilities, physicians, patients, attorneys, or other entities.
• Respond to general releases of patient information while protecting PHI.
• Perform clerical duties including answering phones, scanning, copying, printing, and mail.
• Investigate and respond timely to inquiries received by email, phone, Teams, or other channels.
• Accurately document and action accounts and draft communications to patients, payors, and outside entities.
• Report on status of patient concerns and missing information to management.
