Job summary

Rezolut is seeking a full-time remote Medical Records Processor to join our team. The role involves retrieving and processing medical and billing record requests from facilities, patients, attorneys, and other entities, while protecting PHI.

You will handle clerical tasks, respond to inquiries, document actions, and draft communications to patients and payors. Candidates should have a HS diploma, strong HIPAA knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS/Diploma GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and processes both paper and electronic medical and billing record requests from facilities, patients, attorneys or other entities while preserving PHI confidentiality.
• Works with administration to obtain records to support patient care and payment.
• Clerical duties: answering phones, scanning, copying, printing and mail.
• Investigates and responds timely to inquiries via email, phone, Teams or other means.
• Documents actions accurately and tracks account status.
• Drafts communications to patients, patient representatives, payors, and outside entities as needed.
• Reports on status of patient concerns, trends, missing information to management.
