Qualifications

• AHIMA/ACM credentialing options preferred (RHIA/RHIT/CCS) or CPC/CMC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews system edits and assigns appropriate codes to ensure accurate professional payments.
• Prepares reports for designated leaders documenting recurring problems and delays.
• Communicates with internal staff and external vendors for clarification when documentation is incomplete.
• Troubleshoots issues delaying claim releases and resolves coding discrepancies.
• Responds to coding information requests and supports invoice payment processes.
