P10 is seeking a freelance Medical Editor to perform medical editing, copyediting, and fact-checking of pharma promotional materials, internal and external communications. You will ensure editorial consistency and compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory standards across multiple channels while reporting to the Senior Medical Editor.

The role supports remote candidates in the United States, with availability to work West Coast hours (Pacific).

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, or life sciences with 3+ years editing pharma promotional materials in an agency.
• Knowledge of AMA style; familiarity with FDA drug-promotion guidelines.
• Proactive, able to work independently and perform literature searches.
• Experience anchoring/linking in Veeva is a plus.
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas and product launches is a plus.
• Must be able to work West Coast hours (PST).

Mansioni

• Edit copy and ensure regulatory compliance for branded and unbranded marketing materials for HCP and patient audiences.
• Fact check and proof existing copy for new channels and audiences.
• Provide medical, regulatory, and legal expertise to ensure FDA guidelines and brand standards.
• Copyedit promotional materials for grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, flow, and consistency.
• Validate references for currency and criteria.
• Collaborate with project manager, account manager, designer, copywriter, and other editors as needed.
• Manage brand alignment and assist other editors.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
