Optum seeks a board-certified Medical Director with transplantation and cellular therapies expertise to guide clinical decision making and support evidence-based coverage determinations for Enterprise Clinical Services. You will act as a clinical subject matter expert for solid organ transplantation, BMT, CAR-T therapies, and emerging cellular therapies.

Formación

• MD/DO degree and board certification in a recognized specialty.
• Current, unrestricted physician license.
• 5+ years of clinical experience in transplantation and/or cellular therapy.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert for transplantation and cellular therapies (solid organ, BMT, CAR-T).
• Support benefit coverage determinations and utilization management activities.
• Collaborate on evaluation and enhancement of COE criteria and clinical guidelines.
• Review emerging clinical evidence, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess quality outcomes and clinical performance measures.
• Provide clinical consultations and support for new business opportunities and renewals.
• Participate in client-facing discussions and program reviews related to transplant services.
• Build collaborative relationships with client medical directors and transplant centers.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in patient outcomes.
