American Red Cross seeks a Therapeutic and Cellular Solutions Medical Director (remote role) to lead regulated cellular therapies, oversee clinical operations, and collaborate with leadership for program growth. This national role supports CAR-T, HPCs, and donor materials within a compliant framework.

The candidate will influence policy, drive growth, and ensure regulatory alignment with FACT, CLIA, and FDA standards while working with teams across the US.

Competenze

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine or Hematology/Oncology.
• 5+ years' experience in Cell Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HCT).
• Experience with FACT accreditation processes and AABB Standards for cellular therapy.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations governing HCT/Ps and related cell therapy practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in program development and regulatory accreditation.

Mansioni

• Direct medical strategy and operations for regulated cellular therapies (HPCs, CAR-T, Leukopaks).
• Partner with executive leadership to expand collection footprints and production capabilities.
• Serve as medical liaison for biotech partners, donor eligibility, and protocol alignment.
• Oversee transfer of client protocols from research to clinical-grade production.
• Ensure donor/recipient safety and regulatory compliance with FACT, CLIA, and FDA standards.
