Job summary

CVCH is seeking a Coding Supervisor to oversee the coding team, ensuring accurate and compliant coding across all clinical departments. The role provides leadership, training, and quality assurance for coders, while collaborating with Revenue Cycle and Compliance to optimize reimbursement and regulatory compliance.

Position offers Telecommuting with consideration for a fully remote arrangement within Washington State, depending on experience (DOE).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
• CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA or equivalent coding certification required.
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of medical coding experience including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the coding team to ensure accurate and compliant coding across all clinical departments.
• Lead training, provide quality assurance, and support provider education.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Revenue Cycle teams to address audits and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with complex coding scenarios and escalation of claims issues.
• Promote cross-training and coverage planning to maintain uninterrupted coding operations.
