Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field and a coding certificate.
• Five years of progressive healthcare acute care coding experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Must pass Coding exam before hiring; training in 3M Encoder, HDM, ARMS, and Epic recommended.

Responsibilities

• Staff inpatient coders, manage staffing and productivity reporting, and provide direction to a diverse team of inpatient coders.
• Collaborate with the Outpatient Coding Supervisor, Sr. Coding Manager, Clinical Documentation Specialists, and HIM leadership.
