Job summary

Qualifications

• RHIT/RHIA certifications required or must be obtained within specified time frames.
• CCS or CPC certifications preferred/required for Kaleida Health.
• 1 year of ICD-10, CPT, and DRG/APC coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient and outpatient records to ensure data quality and accurate reimbursement.
• Review medical records and use physician queries when documentation is unclear.
• Calculate E/M level using designated software and post charges for procedures.
