Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Revenue Cycle Medical Coding Supervisor in Los Angeles, CA to lead the coding team, assign work, monitor throughput and quality, and coordinate reviews. The role supports onboarding, training, and escalation of risks to the Coding Manager, and may perform complex coding to meet operational needs.

Ideal candidates hold CPC or CCS credentials and have strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and payer requirements, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CPC through AAPC or CCS through AHIMA.
• Minimum five years of professional medical coding experience, with complex or multi-specialty coding.
• Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CMS NCCI edits, and MUEs.
• Familiarity with Medi-Cal, Medicare, managed care, and payer requirements.
• Experience with coding worklists, quality reviews, and backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily coding work and coach staff.
• Monitor throughput and quality; escalate risks promptly.
• Coordinate quality reviews and onboarding activities.
• Maintain confidential patient and operational records.
