Job summary

NCWlife is seeking a Coding Supervisor to oversee the daily coding operations across clinical departments. You will lead, train, and implement QA processes to ensure accurate, compliant coding and optimal reimbursement.

You will partner with Revenue Cycle and Compliance teams, mentor staff, and stay current with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer guidelines while supporting provider education. Remote work options available within Washington state.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of medical coding experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• AAPC or AHIMA coding certification required (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA); CRC preferred; maintain current certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coding operations across clinical departments.
• Lead, train, and perform QA for coding staff and provide provider education.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and payer guidelines; resolve audit findings.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Compliance teams to optimize reimbursement.
