Job summary

Tegria Services Group - US, Inc. is seeking a Certified Professional Medical Coding Auditor to evaluate accuracy and quality of coded medical records, perform monthly and targeted audits, and ensure compliance with coding guidelines and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• CPMA certification plus CPC/CCS/COC/RHIT/RHIA certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience in professional and/or facility coding.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, ICD-10-PCS and official coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct retrospective and concurrent audits of coder-coded ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, ICD-10-PCS, and modifiers.
• Provide timely feedback and education to coders; develop education materials and sessions.
• Monitor coding quality metrics and support scorecard development and reporting.
• Escalate complex findings to coding leadership for remediation actions.
• Collaborate with Coding Manager and Leads to align audit outcomes with organizational goals.
