Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks an experienced Professional Fee Coding Auditor & Educator to partner with physicians and APPs on coding accuracy, documentation improvement, compliance, and provider education. Must hold CPC and CPMA and have deep knowledge of E/M coding and ICD-10-CM/CPT guidelines.

Responsibilities include chart reviews, provider education, auditing for denials, and collaboration with billing to maximize compliant revenue. Remote position in the US, Eastern time zone preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher with medical coding training.
• Two of CPC / CPMA certifications or equivalent.
• Experience in medical coding, documentation improvement and audits.

Responsibilities

• Code reviews and chart abstraction for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide ongoing coder education to physicians and APPs.
• Audit denials and support providers to improve documentation.
• Collaborate with billing staff to optimize charge capture.
• Stay current with CPT and ICD-10-CM guidelines.
