Job summary

Posterity Group LLC is seeking a Medical Coder for The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. The role involves attaching images to EHR elements, confirming readability, and linking documents to veteran records with high accuracy.

Required are credentials such as RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC, experience with Cerner/Oracle, and strong data-entry skills. Prior VA or federal healthcare coding is preferred; minimum 3 years of experience is expected. Salary: $18.90–$25.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cerner/Oracle or similar EHR systems.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to locate FINs and link documents to veteran records.

Responsibilities

• Attach images to appropriate electronic health record elements and verify accuracy.
• Verify images are uploaded correctly and legible for viewing.
• Locate FINs and accurately link documents to veteran records.
• Index documents within the correct section, note title, date of service, and visit location.
• Perform 100% internal QA on all work before submission.
