Job summary

Verve, LLC is seeking experienced Medical Coders specializing in Outpatient (Multispecialty) and Emergency Department coding. This fully remote role requires CAC access, strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS, and the ability to meet productivity and quality standards.

Compensation is unit-based with earnings tied to completed coding units and per-unit rates. Flexible part-time schedules are available, with opportunities to grow through accurate coding across specialties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CCS or CPC certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of professional medical coding experience in outpatient or multispecialty settings.
• Experience coding E/M levels across multiple specialties preferred.
• Valid CAC or ability to obtain one promptly is required.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes per guidelines and client requirements.
• Code outpatient encounters including day surgery, anesthesia, ED, observation, and specialty clinics.
• Assign accurate E/M levels across multiple specialties.
• Review documentation for completeness and identify deficiencies.
• Complete coding files following productivity, quality, and turnaround standards.
• Maintain CAC access as required for client systems.
