Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assigns accurate diagnostic and procedure codes for outpatient hospital accounts.
• Monitors work queues to ensure timely charging and coding.
• Generates coding queries for clarification regarding physician documentation.
• Stays abreast of changes in coding conventions and updates.
• Manages workload and meets deadlines with minimal supervision.
