American Oncology Network is seeking a Coder II for a remote position in the United States. Responsibilities include accurate coding of surgical and hospital claims using EMR/Centricity, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring all charts are coded and billed daily.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of medical coding experience with oncology CPT/ ICD coding; CPC/ROCC preferred. Remote work with competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of medical coding experience preferred.
• 2+ years of ICD & Oncology CPT coding in designated oncology area preferred.
• AAPC CPC or ROCC certification strongly preferred; if not obtained within 1 year, must obtain.
• Centricity experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Code medical records for general surgery procedures daily.
• Ensure documentation and dictations are complete and compliant.
• Assign codes for procedures and diagnoses for each patient.
• Enter all billable charges into the billing system.
• Escalate trends and documentation issues to the manager for discussion.
