You will code procedures and diagnoses, verify documentation, and manage billable charges with attention to oncology coding specifics.

The role requires five years of coding experience, CPC/ROCC preferred, with strong communication skills and knowledge of CPT/ICD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires five or more years of medical coding experience, preferably in oncology.
• Experience with ICD-10 coding and Oncology CPT coding.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
• Familiar with documentation standards and dictation review.
• Proficient in operative report extraction and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process surgical and hospital claims in EMR and Centricity for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all required documentation is on file for review.
• Code charts daily for procedures and diagnoses.
• Enter all billable charges into the billing system.
• Collaborate with sites to obtain necessary documentation and escalate issues to management.
