Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Coder to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for outpatient MAT services. You will review clinical documentation, ensure accurate coding, and maintain compliance with payer rules and HIPAA.

Minimum 2 years of medical coding experience with emphasis in Evaluation and Management, CPC or CCS-P certification preferred. Remote options may be available in some roles.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CCS-P required.
• 2+ years of coding experience with evaluation and management emphasis.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for services in the facility.
• Review documentation to determine correct codes for services provided.
• Ensure codes meet medical necessity and payer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and privacy standards.
