Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPC, CCS-P, or CPC-A certification preferred.
• 2+ years physician-based coding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Code medical records using CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 for various settings.
• Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software.
• Contact providers regarding coding issues and questions.
• Keep up-to-date with government and payer coding rules.
