Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Medical Coder for a 12-week, remote assignment in a Hematology/Oncology clinic. You will review documentation, assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes, and enter billing data in EPIC Resolute.

Two years of hospital or professional services coding experience are required, with oncology coding experience preferred; AHIMA/CPC/CCS certification is preferred. This is a remote role with a focus on compliance and revenue-cycle accuracy.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospital or professional services experience coding medical records using ICD-10-CM and CPT.
• Oncology coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation to assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes in EPIC Resolute.
• Enter billing information into EPIC Resolute.
• Maintain procedures for insurance billing and ensure accuracy of information.
