Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a certified medical coder for a remote U.S. role. You will code medical records using ICD-9/ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4/HCPCS, with HCC and HEDIS knowledge, and manage a high volume of cases.

Required are AAPC CPC/CPC-H/COC credentials, hospital coding experience, EPIC EHR familiarity, 3M 360 coding experience, and the ability to assign CPT codes. Please ensure your profile notes if you have previously worked as a traveler or with Parkland Health.

Qualifications

• Certified coder with AAPC CPC/CPC-H/COC credential.
• Experience with ICD-9/ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4/HCPCS.
• Knowledge of HCC and HEDIS CAT II, risk adjustment.
• EPIC EHR and 3M 360 coding familiarity preferred.
• Ability to assign CPT codes and handle high volume cases.

Responsibilities

• Code medical records accurately under high volume.
• Apply ICD/CPT coding guidelines and risk adjustments.
• Maintain compliance with coding policies and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with hospitals and billing teams.
