Formación

• Minimum two years of medical records coding experience or completed AAPC coding program.
• Proficient in CPT-4 and ICD-10-CM coding with documentation review and editing ability.
• CPC certification required; detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Abstract billing for outpatient E/M codes and procedures; assign CPT-4, ICD-10-CM codes and modifiers.
• Research coding issues and advise physicians on appropriate coding methods.
• Analyze records to assess coding accuracy and detect potential abuse patterns.
