You will work a 40-hour week, primarily for telecommuting within the U.S., with supervision guiding priority and schedule. Strong coding credentials and reliable internet are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience with professional fee billing and coding reimbursement.
• Six months of knowledge in medical terminology.
• Access to a designated quiet workspace at home with PHI security.
• Live in a location with UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and codes claim information in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provides written explanations ensuring quality data and timely review.
• Ensures department benchmarks are met or exceeded with current industry standards and technologies.
• Maintains professional skills and aligns with organizational goals.
• Manages and prioritizes DME claims ensuring timely adjudication and proper documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
