Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certified coder with CPC/COC/CCS or AHIMA/AAPC credentials required.
• Minimum 6 months experience with professional fee billing and third-party payer regulations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology (minimum 6 months).
• Quiet home workspace secured for PHI handling and reliable high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and code claim information in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide written explanations ensuring quality data and timely review.
• Meet department benchmarks using current technologies and standards.
• Maintain professional skills aligned with organizational goals and integrity.
• Manage and prioritize DME claims with accurate documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
