Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified medical coder to abstract, code, and sequence clinical data from inpatient, outpatient, and professional records in a remote home-office setting.

You will assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures, ensure accurate sequencing, and apply coding guidelines from AHIMA/AMA to support billing and compliance. Requirements include an AHIMA or AAPC coding certificate and 2–4 years of current production coding experience

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-certified Coding Certificate Program.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee.
• Certificates: CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Abstract, code and interpret clinical information from inpatient, outpatient, ED, pro fee and clinical records.
• Assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures with correct sequencing.
