Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced coding/audit professional to review inpatient, outpatient, and professional records for accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and data quality.

You will deliver education to correct documentation gaps and improve overall coding accuracy while collaborating with clients, coders, and providers in a remote home-office setting. The role emphasizes creating actionable training plans, leveraging electronic delivery, and maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Coding and HIM operations with progressive responsibilities.
• At least 3 years’ experience auditing and delivering feedback.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HIM or equivalent or combination of training and experience.
• Certifications CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-P, CPC-H, RHIA or RHIT.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records for accuracy of coding and data quality.
• Provide feedback and education to correct inaccurate coding and improve documentation.
• Communicate effectively with client management, coders, and providers.
• Create an action plan that articulates strengths and areas for development to ensure effective training.
• Assist in creating additional learnings addressing coding problems and documentation gaps.
• Capitalize on electronic delivery avenues and feedback-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Company policies.
